The Secrets of Successful Picture Book Writing – SOLD OUT!

PLEASE NOTE THIS SESSION HAS SOLD OUT!

This session has sold out but we still have a few places at The Things We Do (To Develop Craft and Career).

Writing children’s picture book texts can be deceptively tricky. In this hands-on workshop children’s picture book author and editor Sue Whiting will provide her five top tips for successful picture book writing. This workshop is for those who are keen to develop their craft and who wish to give their picture book manuscript the best chance of catching an editor’s eye.

Sue Whiting has worked in the publishing industry for almost twenty years. She was Publishing Manager and Senior Commissioning Editor at Walker Books Australia for ten years, before leaving in 2016 to concentrate on her writing and to work from home as a freelance editor, writing coach and mentor. Sue has written numerous books in a variety of genres: fiction and nonfiction, picture books through to YA, and is published in Australia and internationally. Her latest book is Missing, a contemporary mystery novel for readers aged 10-14.
