We’ve all heard the saying it takes a village to raise a child, we feel the same way about the Willy Lit Fest.
Our festival has grown so much from its early days when it first started as an idea between two book-loving friends.
Now in its 14th year, our independently-run festival will showcase 80 authors across 53 events, see three new books launched by local writers, and introduce around 500 children to the thrill of meeting their favourite author — all conceived and organised by our small committee team.
Our committee is supported by generous volunteers, community organisations, and you — our wonderful festival patrons. We can’t do it without you.
We can’t do it without the village!
We always want to bring our authors and presenters the very best audiences we can muster and we need your help to get the word out.
You can help us continue to bring you a world class literary festival by sharing our information, telling your friends, booking in your book group, sending an email, text or phoning up a friend and inviting them along.
And if you prefer a more traditional contact, pick up a printed program or print one off at home and share it with your neighbour.
We thank you and can’t wait to see you at the beautiful Williamstown Town Hall June 17 and 18!
