Channelling your Creativity…strolling with the senses
Join multi-published, award-winning local author, Alison Stuart on a ‘sensory’ exploration of Williamstown. As a writer you want to transport your readers to another time, another place and embed them in that fictional world, show them what the characters are living alongside, seeing, and smelling. One critical tool you have in your writer’s box of tricks is the use of the five senses: sight, sound, smell, touch, taste. And what better place to explore and deconstruct these important tools than our own backyard?
This writer’s walking tour will commence on Commonwealth Reserve Williamstown and wend its way toward the Seaworks Maritime Precinct, the Morgue on Ann street and wind up at the Pirate’s Tavern for a refreshing post-tour beverage.
All participants to bring a notebook and pen. (portable chair optional) Limited to 15, this is an all-weather event.
