Tumble down the rabbit hole with George Ivanoff speaking with Claire Saxby and Judy Horacek to fathom the role imagination plays in the development of young minds.

To dream, to inspire, to wonder… what is the rocket fuel that keeps that spark firing?

Judy Horacek is a cartoonist and children’s book maker. Nine collections of her cartoons have been published, the most recent of which is Random Life.  She creates picture books on her own, and also with Mem Fox, including the beloved Where is the Green Sheep? and their latest, Bonnie and Ben Rhyme Again.

George Ivanoff writes stuff, mostly for kids. He is a Melbourne author who’s written over 100 books for kids and teens, including the interactive You Choose series, the RFDS Adventures, the Gamers trilogy, and his latest series, OTHER WORLDS; as well as a ton of school readers and educational books.

Claire Saxby writes fiction, non-fiction and poetry for children. She finds inspiration all around her. Her latest books include The Anzac Billy (ill Mark Jackson & Heather Potter), Dingo (ill Tannya Harricks, Whitley Award 2018, shortlisted NSW Premier’s Literary Awards 2019) Koala (ill Julie Vivas. Shortlisted CBCA Awards 2018), and Bird to Bird (ill Wayne Harris.) Claire works part-time as a bookseller.
