Richard Dove

Richard Dove is a poet, author and project publisher with Little White Bird Press. His widely celebrated picture book, Us Karen, was commended by Prime Minister Julia Gillard, who launched the book from her Canberra office. After a long career with Victoria Police, building the relationship between police and culturally diverse communities, Richard is now enjoying his dream job of coordinating the settlement of refugees in Melbourne’s west – and writing stories and poetry.
