Volunteer

We’re looking for a few more volunteers for the 2025 Willy Lit Fest.

We’d love to have you on board.

Would you like to help present the oldest and brightest literary festival in the West?

We’re always keen for new volunteers, whether for the busy festival weekend or for
set-up jobs in the weeks before hand.

All you need is a bright, enthusiastic outlook and a willingness to pitch in with
whatever’s required. Volunteers are the backbone of our festival and help us create
a warm, welcoming and inclusive community event. We’re looking for people to help
us with:

 welcoming and guiding festival patrons
 ushering and checking tickets
 tidying a session room/managing room changeovers
 welcoming and assisting with the needs of presenting authors
 supporting the information desk/box office
 assisting with setup of events
 posting to social media over the weekend, and before
 distributing posters and programs in the lead-up
